Rachel M. Smith

Rachel Smith’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, appellate law, insurance bad faith litigation, and professional liability defense.

Rachel graduated from California Polytechnic State University in 2013, earning Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Political Science. Rachel earned her J.D. from University of California, Davis School of Law in 2020 where she was an articles editor for the UC Davis Law Review and an editor for the UC Davis Business Law Journal. During law school, Rachel worked as a judicial extern for Judge Michael Bowman of the Sacramento Superior Court and intern for in-house counsel for an international data storage center focusing on contract and privacy law. Rachel was admitted to the North Dakota Bar in 2020, California Bar in 2021, and Wisconsin Bar in 2022.

Rachel is admitted to practice before all courts of the State of California, and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Central, Eastern and Southern Districts.
